FN2010 Part 4: Johannesburg, South Africa

I really feel this part of the documentary, shot over a single day in Johannesburg, speaks for itself.

My first time in Africa, my first World Cup game ever and my first time playing with lion cubs.

What more is there to say?

This looks so cool – I can’t believe you guys are there!

Also.. hey Annie! Come over to London after you’ve finished feeding those giraffes. Plenty of hungry squirrels over here.

Lovely armchair travelling. Particularly enjoy the interviews and SA footage – commentaries are pretty good too. Thanks! Look forward to the next one.

    Ah thanks all.

It was certainly a special day.

Annie and I are still digging a bit to get a real African experience in South Africa. We’re in Durban at the moment, which is a lovely port city which is easier to navigate than Joburg, but we hope to get some film from the Soweto township when we return to Joburg.

    Either way, stay tuned.

@ Simon – Paris was mental. I can’t wait to go back.

@ billie – Yes, the German fellows appeared to get free tickets. Not sure how well it would have worked for the second round and beyond though.

@ Darragh – The Aardwolf is classic. Regarding footage: we could. I just didn’t want my first World Cup game experience to be ruined by filming/photography. I just wanted to live it.

@ laninja – You’ll be pleased to know there is plenty more of Annie in the next video, from Durban. Enjoy :)
